How many of you ladies have had your tubes tied or cut?

I had my tubes tied shut 17 years ago. They went through my belly button and you can't even see the scar. They put you under so you don't feel a thing. It was a little tender and sore but not to bad. I had mine done after giving birth to my third daughter. I was done with having babies. Now they don't call it tying but its more like welding them shut. That way there is less of a chance of them coming undone. I had a lady tell me that she had the same thing done and 17 years later had another baby. Her's gave way. Oops. Mine never did.
