Public transport or private cars?

i prefer a private transport since it is more convinent and more over more secure than others

i am having own car but i will prefer taxi as it is more cheaper but i use my car as we have to go for a taxi

Depends on what I'm doing. If I have errands, I can get so much more done in my car. Our bus system is very good, but in all the waiting to transfer to different busses, I can only get about 4 errands done. In my car I can sometimes get 11 done! If I'm working at a remote location (my work takes me all over locally) then I will take the metro train because it is frequent and fast. And CHEAPER than driving my car, don't deal with traffic, and don't have to park my car! Aloha!!

Public transports must be giving much more attention, people need to be able to rely on it more, I guess if people can find the right public transport method near their destinations without being over crowded or far between in time they will depend on it more and more, it should be encouraged as it also help cleaning up our ecological system to have less motors running all of the time. I would choose the train or bus over the car any time if it's convenient, I hate driving and the hassles of the traffic.

Public transport is very important for urban areas with a high population density. A lot of people tend to have the prefer using a car or a taxi because of the comfort and convenience factor, but if the public network is good and the roads keep getting congested more and more people will automatically start using public transport as it will be quicker. So you need to the infrastructure to promote public transport. Like in London there are bus lanes that are exclusive to buses and any private vehicles using the lane are fined. This improves the time taken for a bus to cover the same distance.
