My cat snores!!

My cat suddenly started making these really weird breathing noises the other night. They actually woke me up. Sometimes he makes little purrs and meows when he dreams but when I checked on him this time, he was comfortably curled up with his head on top of his tail and just breathing really deep. It sounded kind of funny through his nose. I never knew him to snore before but I know some animals do. I was wondering maybe he just has a cold or something.

He might just have a cold since you have never heard him snore before, however cats and dogs as well do snore, i know because my cat and dog both do all the time, and when my husband and kids all join in it is a regular snore fest around here. lol!!!

I guess he just does snore a bit, but not all the time. Maybe it depends what position he sleeps in. thanks.

Your head finally hits the pillow after a long hard day and you're ready to catch some z's. But then your dog snuggles next to you and starts snoring. What to do you do? CBS 2's Jackie Johnson reports about a new treatment for pets that snore. Some people think they've got it bad with a spouse, partner or crazy uncle who keeps them up all night with his or her loud snoring. But count your blessings or sheep because you could be living with a four-legged, log-sawing machine. There's an expression: It's not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog that matters. But what about the snore in the dog?Yes, my dog snores and she keeps us up at night and she drives me insane," said Alison Connell. "It's not as loud as my husband is, but it's pretty damn loud.Lovable Lola snores. Apparently, so do many other dogs and cats. Like many pet owners, Alison and Monica share their beds with their best friends, but they're losing sleep over it. His snoring has increased immensely in the last couple of years. It wakes me up in the middle of the night. It's just like having a partner in bed you know the whole. Now there may be hope. An over-the-counter product called SnoreStop claims it soothes the savage snoring beast... Well, the snoring family pet anyway.I started having customers calling me and no longer complaining about their spouses, husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends snoring, it was now about the dogs the cats," said Melody Dee Rivelle.Rivelle has been in the snoring business for 10 years. Developed by her father Christian, SnoreStop is homeopathic, all natural, and comes in pill or liquid form

I have had many cats, one of the tabby females snored the worst of the lot. Now i have one cat left a 15 yr old domestic short hair male.He wheeze-snores when he sleeps, and i usually look all around the room for the source of whatever it could be, I usually find him in a box nearby or deep in the couch throw pillows, lol.

LOL.. we have a cat that snores now too. My dog used to, but I had to put him to sleep. Now the other dog sleeps quietly next to me. I'm thinking when he gets old he might snore too! lol
