are prisons too good for them??

Don't you also think jails/prisons are too good for those who comit a crime??
for example The Netherlands, prisoners get milk + bread for breakfast and good lunch and dinner.
Beside that they get paid!! yes, prisoners get PAID!! to buy their things.
in their jail, there is a tv, a good bed, great window, table etc.
Is this a bit too crazy?? don't forget they are criminals!! Yes, criminals have rights too, but I find this a bit TOO much...

At the end of the day Criminals are still human beings and have a right to food and a bed. Prehaps they are getting to many benefits - but the majority of them are going to be released back into society therefore to exclude them completly from societal ways for a prolonged period (ie no money no tv) is probably only going to cause problems in the long run.
I do reackon that they should work for their keep tho, darning socks or something!
