Which religion do you think that is more close to the truth and god's word?

Lets try to have some points as outsiders. i dont want to make a polemic discussion about which one is better, but i am more interested which one is more close to the big truth.

It's really so hard to say. A lot of religions have similar themes and similar general ideals, and some have striking similarities between them. But as it is, since so much is based in faith and speculation, there's no way to pin point one religion and say 'this is close to the truth'. None of them are founded very firmly in logic.

That's the people though, not the religion itself. People have always twisted and changed and watered down religion and used it as an excuse and an opportunity. And they probably always will. :/

i am aware that all religions have the same roots.The way that we separate makes me to think that was a fight for control and idealogical issues.

maybe u r right too. But my impression is that people made religion too human, there is nothing devine left in it. Church seams to be more interested in power than in their missions on earth.

That's a hard one to decide, I guess it would come down which holy book do you believe in. I am still trying to figure it out but I don't know enough about the others, I have only been exposed to the Bible, but at the end of the day I think what ever I choose I would be just as subjective as the next person...

I was raised Christian and still practice Christian beliefs but I'm going to say Islamic.
Basically, the Islamic religion is the same as Christian only they humanize Christ. And, there is no Biblical evidence to show he was anything but a human. I've been of the belief that the Church is wrong when it says Christ is God.
However, their views aren't perfect since the Koran tells them to treat Jews as their brothers but the religion still supports killing the Jewish people.

Dont forget that christianity had the Inquisition that killed in the name of god...and that wasnt quite what GOD wanted. Agree??
