I sent my husband to Daddy Boot Camp before our daughter was born. When she started on solids he said, "It smells too bad now. I can't change them; I'm going to be sick." I gave him "the look" and reminded him that I didn't enjoy the smell either so we were in this together. He qucikly got the message. He's pretty well-trained now. :)

Haha, my husband didn't have much of a choice. I had high blood pressure and was unduced for 72 hours just to end up having a c-section. I was on anti-seizure meds, all through the induction and for at least 24 hours after the c-section, and they made people dizzy, so I wasn't allowed out of bed until after the IV was out and the meds had time to work out of my system. So Joshy had to change Alek's diapers. He also had to do the feedings and jump up whenever he cried. But he didn't complain one bit! He's very supportive. Now he works 70-90 hours a week sohe isn't home much, but when he is home he will still change Alek's diapers when needed.

If you love your wife, if you love your child, you should not hesitate in doing anything for them. Why dignity of labour comes on the way of changing the diaper of your child?

When my husband is home he changes 95% of the diapers and always has. I never had to ask him. Then when I was pregnant with our second changing diapers made me so sick that he just took over doing it all the time. When he isn't home, of course, I do it. But otherwise it is him. He has changed many more then me. He also helped raise his 3 nephews. He has been changing diapers since he was 15 without a complaint. (oh and we had 3 in diapers at one time--It was a lot to deal with).

Definitely, from the time when my baby was up to the time he didnt need them anymore, its nothing out the ordinary,in some ways I think I was actually bonding with my baby, since most times I was the only one doing the changing, and now that he is 6,he still remembers those days(He tells me so).

Well I'm not a man but my husband was a father before I met him, he had two kids already and when we had our first baby together he changed the diapers all the time until I felt I was ready, after a few days I figure I had to since I was the baby's mother and my husband had to go back to work soon.
