to be very honest, let me say that this was an uncalled for discussion to start. anyways, yahoo should issue us a notice a few days before it gets banned in a particular region. i would really miss yahoo messenger, wont miss the mail as much as i have a gmail account to take care of my mails

But the question arises why ??? If it is because it has exchanged all your contacts with spammers, then anyway you and your contacts have no choice except to change their current email address be it Yahoo or Not. Anyway in the current system of the Internet, there doesn't seem to be dearth of alternatives. If one goes 10 other will crop up and we will enjoy our life as it is. Only misery will be that we might need to recirculate our email address to our contacts.

What get this into your thought??? Well I guess nothing much would happen. There are so many alternatives to Yahoo. Maybe one should ask what if microsoft get a slap on the face?? Most people would find it difficult operating their PC's. Microsoft is a household name in the filed of compuring.

What are you refering too? Banned from what? Yahoo is a very big operation. Very big....and to some extent provide safegaurds that no other web site does. Once I began using Yahoo mail I have never had a distructive virus come through on e-mail. I did a number of times when with earthlink. I do have gmail but do not use it much. Are you talking about banning in a perticular country?

well if yahoo is banned we will miss the services they provide and since all net users have more than one ids they will be in touch with each others through the other e-mail services available like hotmail, gmail, rediflail etc
