Should they have televised Saddam's execution?

Personally I find the thought of seeing his execution live on television abhorrent. However I probably would have watched it out of morbid curiosity. Would it have provided the people that were severely affected by his actions closure?

Yeh I know what you mean, it sounds pretty horrible but there is that human curiosity....
