Can someone give me some advice on buying a new car. What kind of questions should I ask the car salesman?

Your best bet is to have a brand of car in mind. then got to the internet to look for information on the advantage of the brand over others. Then check for places where you can purchase this brand of car and the compare prices. If you have a friend already using such brand of your choice, you can ask for advice Make sure you don't go there alone or the sales man can make you buy the one you don't like. they have sugar-coated mouth. Ask for a test drive and then pay. But be very sure you have a very strong determination or you may leave the place with entirely different brand from the one you aim at buying. I wish i can follow you so i can always remind you no to listen to the salesman. he is only out to make as much commission as he can sell.

First of all, make sure the salesman doesn't swindle you into purchasing more car than you need. If I could find my book, I could tell you exactly what questions to ask(I went through an auto sales course a few months ago). However, the most important thing is what the car will be used for. Business or personal use? How many people will be driving it? Do you want special features such as power locks or windows? Remember that if the salesperson tries to sell you what you don't need, walk away from the conversation. It's best if you go into a dealership with an idea of what you need and want. Hope this helps a bit.
