Owl - We live in the suburbs in Southern Cal, and this little fellow was hunting around our house. We don't see too many owls in this area. In the Hawaiian language, he is called pueo (pronounced pu-eh-oh). Aloha!
Very good trivia! I don't know if owls are indigenous in many countries. Now you've given me reason to look into them more! Aloha!

Owls are native to all continents except Antarctica, and are found in a wide variety of the countries therein. They really are fascinating creatures. :)

I had never seen such bird which cannot move its eyes. But I studied and learnt that the owl, which could not face the day light could also not move its eye. I also learnt that an owl can see in the black darkness of the night like cat and such other animals and beasts.

Owls are the only birds which cannot move their eyes, they have got forward looking eyes. Therefore to watch aroud they have to move their neck. All the species of owls around the world have the same forward-looking eyes. According to my knowledge only the owls cannot move their eyes but if there is any other bird do let me know.
