Do you have an eBay store?

I am looking for information from eBayers with an online store, preferrably in the craft area. I am curious as to how crafts sell on eBay and if it is even something that is worth the effort. Any information you have would be great. Thanks for your time! :)

Your crafts wouldhave to be VERY unique. Most people whouse e-bay are looking for collectables or the supplies for crafts. YOu might set up a few items and see how many bids you get WITHOUT staring an ebay store to see how things go. E-bay charges more for a store on their site then it would cost for you to have your own site and just accept paypal payments. Put the items on your own site AND list them for sale on e-bay. If after 6 months your sales a brisk enough to justify paying the higher cost for an E-bay store, then you come out ahead. If you don't know how to design a site and the other thigns involved with getting started, then I suggestyou look at Homestead.com. They provide payment processing through paypal, I think, which can be integrated into your site. If you already have experience building websites then you can go with a cheaper webhost, design your site with a catalog area and paypal buttons for your items. Starting with a store on E-bay can eat up any money you might make. Look for less expensive ways to try your hand at selling your items first.

I used to have an Ebay store at the beginning of their promotion, but I quit it eventually because I didn't feel like it was worth it. These days, you have to make sure you have something that will sell, because now you have to pay monthly for that store. For me it is just not worth it.

I also would like to know... therefore I would very like to work with things in ebya. However I have much fear, therefore as I live in Brazil I feel that daqui would be difficult to export things to U.S.A. or too much countries. But it would like to know when I will have courage.
