Is the US ready for a black or female president?

I'm pretty convinced we are ready for a democrat. Could the next president be Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama? Do the democrats need a white male to win the presidency?

OH BOY What a question!!!!!!! The way our country is right now I don't think anyone could make it worse. The only reason I voted for Bush was to keep the sancution of marriage intact. Of course when a Democrat gets in office that will go to hell in a hand basket. Other than that I don't think it matters if the person is White, Black, male or female as long as they were born in the USA and not from some foreign country. I am just afraid for my children and grandchilden as to what is happening to this country. Being 51 I don't think it is going to change much in my life time.

I hope your feelings don't deter you from voting this year. As a Repubican do you feel Bush has done such a bad job that the next president will inevitably be a democrat?

I am very dissapointed in Bush with the war. Other than that he is doing okay.
