Already divorced, once one of Hollywood’s favorite couple, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, finally managed to resolve the splitting of their assets marking the official end of their divorce. There is no information regarding the settlement since they agreed not to disclose the details of each other's financial shares. However, sources say under the terms of the settlement, Nick will get "significantly" more than $1.5, but far less than $18 million. Nick agreed to the settlement in order to avoid an ugly court battle. The couple tied the knot in October 2002 in a private ceremony in Texas. Lachey was wealthier than Jessica at that time. They separated in November 2005 and filed for divorce the following month when rumors were rife that Jessica was no longer in love with Nick. "The first few months were hard," a friend of Lachey told People in November. "But Nick finally realized he was in a better place." Simpson and Lachey who once peddled a book on secrets to a happy and sexy marriage, and starred in MTV's reality series "Newlyweds," were free to legally marry others in June. Simpson is currently filming “Blonde Ambition” in Louisiana, while Lachey has been touring the U.S. to promote his album “What's Left of Me.” Meanwhile, Lachey is still making headlines on his own. Most recent by confessing he once turned down the offer of sleeping with two women, mother and daughter. "I was propositioned by a mother and a daughter back in 1997 when 98 Degrees were performing,” the 33-year-old said. "In some places, the mother-daughter combination might be intriguing but not so much in Nebraska. It was kind of creepy." He reportedly called his former wife to inform her of his intentions of getting married to his girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo, whom he’s been dating for eight months. "I'm getting married again Jess and I wanted you to hear it from me.”
