Does anybody if drinkink around two cups of coffee a day is harmful?

I noticed it gave me some pain in the liver area ,after coming off the interferon.That was 2 years ago.Now the pain is gone and Im wondering is it harmful or not?Cant find much about it on the net.

It may have been from something else. However a dietitian once told me to drink at least as much water as you do coffee.
