Bhakri id - the killing of living animal for the name of religion

i was very happy on new year eve when in morning i saw goat in rickshaw waiting to be killed on bhakri id. we call our society as modern...but its hight time we imrove our thinking...no religion teaches u to kill living being..it left me so sad that i dont have words..i believe its time we take some step

Goats are very magical creatures and should be revered as such.
I do not agree with sacrifice, as I'm sure it would work just as well with a potatoe and a few sticks of celary.
The fact that the poor animal would be eaten afterwards, makes up for it a little bit but does the animal die painfully in fear? I suspect is almost definately the case and as such should be looked into by animal rights people.
Send the goat to live with me instead, I love them!
