its new years eve so what will you be doing at midnight,where will you be, / myLot

I will be at home with two friends. At the stroke of midnight I will climb up on a chair and eat 12 grapes, one for each stroke of the clock. When alighting I will make sure I step down with my right foot first. This is a tradition in Portugal and I have done this for the 28 years that I have been residing here. The Portuguese believe that if you carry out this tradition you will be starting the new year out on the right foot and that you will have health and happiness throughout the coming year.

I have never heard of that tradition, but I will try anything to have a better year than 2006. Happy new year. :)

This year I will see in the new year at my house with a few members of my family and my best friend Janet. I am looking forward to seeing in the new year, as 2006 for me was a bad year and I look forward to a great 2007. xxxxxxxxx
