Mummers Parade

Every year it is a tradition to attend the New Years Parade in my city of Philadelphia. It is so amazing with all the glitter and gaud! no matter the weather it is always bright and beautiful! After the parade we hit up 2 street for festivities that go all night! It is supposed to rain this year which is sad and they may postpone! I HOPE NOT!!! Has anyone else seen a Mummer before and if so what do you think of this Philadelphia tradition?
