2006 Fat Boy Repair

I put new chrome on my bike this morning and it started fine and all buttons and controls worked. However, I went to ride this afternoon and the red alarm light on the speedometer comes on and nothing will crank. I don't even have an alarm on the bike.
Please help if possible. Thanks
