in a restaurant

yesterday night I had a dinner with an old friend in a restaurant.It's a traditional Chinese one. The foods served here is nice and very delicious. At that time not many people there as it's not the dinner time. I can even talked with the chef after I finished my dinner.He's an ordinary but warm man with dark skin and a big belly.Not good looking I can say but the dishes he made are so good. I gave him a compliment for the service. To my surprise,he asked me to tell him the bad side instead of the good side. I told him you are really a good chef and I am not a fastidious cuscomer. But he insisted that I should give him some suggestion. Few people like to hear the criticism.But he is an exception. I am sure that he will be formed into a perfect chef by all his cuscomers.
