is software field forever?

If you mean will the software field remain good in India, there are question marks over there. There is the major competition from former east block countries like Romania. There are asian competitors like China, Thailand, Malaysia. But if you mean will the software field remain a growing sector world wide, YES it will be a growing field for a long time to come, it will mature into Artificial intelligence, learning computers etc.

idont think so since there was a time when software engineers where with no job
