muslim women are what?????

i seen on t.v. this morning a reported saying that muslim women are not well educated and are basicly slaves due to there religion.........sometimes people should research things before they report on it cause this is not always the case, matter a fact it is only in the strictest muslim countries that women have a lot of limitations like not being able to drive or actually go to college or something like that, but here we live in a country where you can drop out of high school at 16 and 14 in some states and have to pay 2 arms and a leg to go to college where in most muslim countries they pay for students to attend college, pay them to get married, and pay for medical care too, so exactly what example are we setting!!!

Media can be really one-sided at times. Not all Muslim women are being treated badly. In countries where religion can be practised freely, Muslim women per se are not restricted to do what they want to do. I have seen many Muslim women who are doctors, dentists, lawyers and etc in these countries. They have freedom to do what they want to do without prohibitions by the state. Normally, restrictions are being enforced by people who have very little respect for women. This apply to even countries which Islam is not being practised.
