Hi I am new to mylot and I have spent so much time on the internet looking for information regarding anxiety and menieres disease as I have been diagnosed with both. Is there anyone who has had success with being treated with anxiety or panic disorder and if so what kinds of things helped you? I am getting discouraged at things that I have read on the internet regarding anxiety, it seems like a great deal of people are suffering with no signs of hope.

I use to manage anxiety, listening musiq, playing violen and i like chocolates, and i feel i get refreshed after having my chocolates. And best remedy is Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle anxiety.

Unfortunately, meniere's disease is hard to cure. Some people get better within just a few days while others will suffer throughout their entire lifetime. My uncle was diagnosed with that and because he had this vertigo sensation that made him very panicky to the point he would freak out and hyperventilate sometimes turning blue and numb. I think there's something the ENT specialists will inject in your ear because meniere's causes you to have vertigo because the fluids in you ear drums which causes you to balance has crystalized. I think they'll inject something in your ear to "un-cryatalize" that fluid!? I'm not so sure yet. Meniere's causes vertigo and vertigo causes anxiety attacks. I too am suffering from vertigo and it has been 4 years now but I have a far more serious case because my doctors are ruling in that I MIGHT have multiple sclerosis. I'll know by June. If that's confirmed that will truly change my life.

Hi there, I have had an anxiety disorder for quite a while. You do need to see a dr, or phyciatrist. I went into cognitive behavioral therapy, which really did help. My anxiety is brought on by stress. I am on medication and it does work. What symptoms do you have associated with you anxiety? Ill help you out anyway i can.

I've suffered on & off with anxiety & panic related problems for many years. One of my greatest methods of coping is using distraction techniques. Try listening to music or do something you really enjoy, try to get lost in it, forget about your anxieties. Now this isn't a miracle cure, it is a coping method & you should still see your doctor about it. I personally find a walk along the beach can help, take in the fresh air, try to let mother nature help you through your hard times.

yes yes and yes you can get a handle on anxiety and panic. i have issues with them as well as a few other titles the doctors like to pin with you. But with the right medications and whats called Cognative therapy you can gain control over most behavior and mood disorders depending on their severity. I take klonipin as its the only one so far that doesnt cause side effects for me. I went threw alot of meds to find the righ one so dont give up. Going threw meds and doctors till you find the ones that are right for you is the longest hardest thing to get threw. In my opinion its harder then dealing with the diseases themseleves but its worth the fight to get them both right. Hugs

Yeah, I have anxiety and fight it quite a bit. Social anxiety to be exact. Being on the right combination of medication is very important. That is something I never wanted to deal with, taking medication every day for life but I realize if I don't I will become agorophobic and that's worse than anxiety. It's a struggle because I'm on unemployment with no insurance and the medicine is expensive. My doc helped me get with people who will give me my meds and send them to me in the mail. If you want to talk sometime send me a message.
