how to choose friends in mylot.give suggestions

I have made my friends by looking at my interests discussions. But take your time. Try to find friends that you enjoy the discussions they start. Plus, if you have similar interests they are likely to respond to your discussions.

I choose my friends from people who respond to my discussions, if they have good views and seem to be intelligent people I look on their profiles to confirm by seeing what kinds of discussions they start, etc. Also I choose friends from discussions I reply to, either they were the original poster or from their comments there. I refuse many friends requests because they never posted to my discussions or the quality of discussions they started is very low. I have 30+ friends now and i don't want the number to get much bigger, I believe smaller number of friends allow me to check their discussions and rate them, etc also I kind of don't like much adding friends who have big lists, I think they would not remember me or stop at any of my discussions. This is how I see it but some members want to add as much friends as possible, thinking that big percentage will post in the discussions they start but they don't do the same for their friends.
