Do you like the Book?

I like the book, it is one among the 'must read'.The idea i.e. how authoritarian rule or communist regimes work, is very well exploited in this book. but the end is quite disturbing, but i have noticed that George Orwell always ends a book like this (eg Animal farm).

I liked this book very much. It shows how totalitarism wants to control the entire society. And what happens to people in that spciety. You should read Orwels other book: Animal farm.

i loved the book... especially the dark shades into which the story is woven... even when orwell wanted to be humorous, ot critical, it had its shade of black. Also the the sections of society that he brought forth in his book seem very unlikely, yet not impossible. The rawness of his narration allows the reader to picture the content. all in all.. a marvel..

yeah.. i like this book.. one of my favorites...

I really liked 1984. I read it a few years back. Winston is something else. I really enjoy the symbolism. George Orwell's books are all filled with symbolism. You should reread Animal Farm and see if you like it better now that you have read 1984.
