Saddam Hussein

We catch Saddam, he gets tried really quickly and then hanged. This didn't bother me until my girlfriend said she hated the media coverage as she felt she was now being made to feel sorry for him. I kind of get what she means; does anyone else think the media have softened towards him? As an aside as well, is it right that Tony Blair won't say whether or not agrees with the death penalty being used?

actually, i don't feel like they have gone soft but i do wish they would stop talking about it, it is giving him more glory, sota like letting himstill live cause he is still causing problems the more we talk about him in the media the more his followers feel we are rubbing it in their face and that could prove to get us all in trouble!!!

Of course the media softened it, they wouldn't want Bush to get any praise for anything at all, so they make it as neutral an event as possible. They are pretty devious about how they cover stuff like that.
