Owning Vs Eating

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I often find that I'm quite content simply owning chocolate. I always stash it away, so I know I have it if I want some, but I can go weeks without touching it. However, if I run out, I'm suddenly desperate for the stuff. I go out, but more than I need and realise I don't want to eat any. Of course, there ARE days when I stuff my face. But am I alone in this?

I'm the same way. I have boxes and bags of chocolate stashed all over, for emergency situations. Mainly because chocolate - good chocolate - is expensive, and the kind I really like is only available here once a year. Oh Sees Candy, how I love thee so...

Sees Candy? I had american chocolate sent to me over christmas. it's...bigger, brasher and... I have to admit, I prefer the UK. :/ We have a Cadbury shop near us. It's a good place.

The Belgians do it best though, although Thorntons is pretty good too. Mmmm, the cappucinno ones, mmm, dribble! I'm on a diet for the New Year so best not to have any in the house at the moment although I still have loads that i got for christmas and it would be sacriligious to throw it away!

I've never been good at stashing chocolate. If it's around, I'll probably be craving it and then will eat it. That's just how it goes.

If I'm craving then it tends to go quickly. But if I'm not it build up so much!

If I'm at my family home then I find that I don't eat that much chocolate because there is always so much of it around the house but when I get back to my place and I don't have any I crave it and then i buy it and eat it!

I have some chocolate shoes in a mini shoebox. They are so pretty, I definately don't want to eat them. But normal chocolate is gone within a day!

Aww, they sound cute. Does chocolate keep well? I have this little...chewing gum bear. My dad got me it ages ago and I couldn't bring myself to chew it XD

I wish I could be like that!!! If I have chocolate in the house it disappears a bit too quickly! Can resist buying it when I'm out most of the time but if I know its there ...well, it isn't for long!

Haha we're opposites! I have loads of chocolate in the house, but I'm craving other things. It's terrible!

I usually stash a load of chocolate bars and other chocolate covered goodies in the fridge for those ever-frequent craving emergencies! I even keep twix bars in the freezer (one day I swear I'll break a tooth snapping into one of those)!

The only chocolate I'll eat frozen is a mars bar. You can chew on one for ages XD But be careful with your teeth! XD

I envy you! My problem is exactly your opposite. I usually end up trying hard not to buy choclate because if I know I have it I will end up eating it all at once. It's been about 4 months I haven't eaten any and that is only thanks to myself for not buying it. However I do admire your will power of having the choc and not eating it
