Should scientists try to 'cure' homosexuality?

January 1, 2007 7:35pm CST
I read in the paper today that scientists in America have been carrying out experiments with homosexual sheep and have succeeded in turning them 'straight'. Rams who previously were only interested in mating with other rams (about 10% of sheep, much the same percentage as in humans) were persuaded to take an interest in the ewes. What do you think? Should this experiment have been carried out at all? Does it have any relevance to humans? My personal view is that the gay sheep weren't harming anyone so the scientists should just have left them alone :)

Yes, I just don't see the point in wasting time researching this when there are real diseases that actually kill people still without a cure!

I don't think the scientists should have bothered the sheep, exspecially if their intention was to cure humans of homosexuality. I believe that people are born guy or not. I don't think homosexuality is a disease to cured.

naw,, i think they're wasting time.. it's something of human nature, and even though sceince is that broad, every person is different than the other,.. we may agree on things, but you are who you are, and scince can't change that! c:
