What are some fun hobbies to take up for a stay at home mom?

I am also a stay at home mom and sometimes the days get rather boring and looonnnnggg-dont they? I do alot of scrapbooking-its a great hobby that you and your family all get to enjoy. Also, there are lots of other sites that you can go to and get paid. Crosswords are fun, as is reading magazines about children and anything else that interests you. Have you thought of joining a mom's group? I am part of a stay at home moms group off of www.sahm.meetup.com Go there and see if there is one in your area. Its great for you and your kids! How about swimming-you and your child could do together? Or the local gym? Do you enjoy other crafts like sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, jewelry making, woodworking, etc? i do a lot of crafts both with my kids and with out. with my kids i do scrapbooks and with out my kids i make jewerly. homemadesimple.com has some good ideas for mom and mom and kids.

Well i really enjoy scrapbooking it is fun and also helps me to relax I have a scrapbook thats fully of pictures of my animals, my fiance, my friends, and just random things. Its fun to create a page with stickers and paper try it :)

Sewing is a great hobbie but it's not for everyone. Sewing is not only my hobbie but I make my living doing it. i also love to landscape.

If you are a artist, you can paint or draw. If you are interested in making crafts, you can make artefacts. You can gather 1000 friends and launch home based industry with the friend's base.
