Some people shouldn't have kids; I think God agrees

Yesterday a 14 month old child was killed. His parents were inside their trailer while this child played in the unfenced front yard. When he wandered into the street and the path of a car, Mom couldn't get to him in time. This is not the first time in this town that a child has died due to the neglect of his parent or parents. Nor is it the second or third or even 100th. There's the child who burned to death when his brother set the house on fire playing with matches, the toddler who was stabbed to death and her older sister paralyzed after their parent's drug deal went wrong, and who can count how many kids have been left locked in cars during the summer heat. When will people realize they are responsible for their children? If they don't want that responsibility, there are others who will take care of them. Even being placed in a group home where their basic needs are met would have to be better than suffering a painful death. I see kids running loose in stores, 5 and 6 year olds walking by themselves in parts of town where I will only drive with my doors locked. I wonder where their parents are. And I wonder why the parents had children if they aren't willing to take care of them. And I'm sure those same parents will be all over the TV and radio blaming everyone but themselves when their kids die.

I do agree with you. Some people should not have kids. The outcome can be very sad, like the stories you said. I'm not sure god has anything to do with it or not though. This is just one more reason I'm all for people having to get liscences before having kids, or some kind of tests.
