Do you buy landed property or flat in the name of your wife with your own money?

In our country we buy it in the name of our wife and do not fear that she will leave with it.

No, in our country husbands buy property in their wife's name as there are rare case of leaving. By illigal money property buy in the name of wife too.

Wow, it sounds like you trust your wives alot. That is something else. I think here in the USA, the married couples can do that and they have both of their names on the lease or a contract.
