How was the first day of your new year?

Every year we look at the new year with renewed enthusiasm and great expectations. And they say what is well started is well done. So, how was the first day of the New Year for you. If it is an indication of how things will be in the coming year, are you hopeful or scared about the new year?

The first day of my new year was very borring indead. I didnt go out new years eve because i had to be to work in the morning on new years day. I worked 8:30 to 5:30 then i left and went home to deal with 4 screamming kids and more work(house work).
