Was it correct to hang Saddam Hussain ??

Recently the former President of Iraq, Mr. Saddam Hussain was hanged by the court of justice. Is it correct to announce a death sentence to a President of a country by a court of justice which is controlled by the most powerful country in the world ??

By the law of the land in Iraq,
there's no debate. He was convicted
of crimes against humanity and not
just anyone but his own people. Yes
the U.S. had a very heavy hand in
bringing him to this point but it is
Iraqi law that hung him. I personally
would've locked him in a dark cell for
the rest of his life and let his brain
rot. That's the worst thing you could do
to a human.
