Will we contact Alien life?

I think chances are not too bright to contact Alien life.We may have an answer in 100 years.Because in a local area of universe, life may exist for a proportion of time and not necessarily at the point of time humankind is searching for life.Do you have belief in their existence? Or Do you think its only our imagination? Post me your views.

Technology has made great advances, so scientist estimate that if there are any alien civilizations within close (by cosmic standarts) range, we are likely to make contact with them soon. If there are'nt we are not likely to make contact ever. As it is, it's only an estiment.
