why has delhi become unsafe for tourists and women?

i m a delhite seriously its embarrassing when such things happen in here....... and there is not much we can do.......... i agree plight here is bad as compared to other cities i recnetly visited mumbai n was spellbound 2 c the night life thier they can manage it cause it is safe for the women at night........

i think the government should com fwd and take the necessary actions and improve the security.more over delhi is our capital city......

Manasi the fault is ours.We the people elect each time different parties to the helm of affairs and they start cheating us from the very day of their crowning. The result prisoners become MPs MLAs and criminals get scot free. No body could act against mafias successfully for want of will power. I am reminded of the Emergency days though not to be appreciated the peace and security the women and common man enjoyed then. We need a benevolent dictator or an iron willed P.M. let us hope and wait!!
