Should Shewag continue to open the Indian innings??

Shewag has been one of the most ballastic batsmen India has ever produced and has given some solid start to the Indian team but he has failed misreable over the time.His weaknesses seems to have been exposed in the international arena and they seem to be exploiting it to the max.So the question is .. in such circumstances should he continue to open the innings...or should he be given cover in the opening slot and may be ask him to bat lower down the order!!!
