I have a small pond set up in my living room to accomodate my goldfish when they are not outside. During the summer I keep them in a 1/2 barrell on my patio. I bought the cheapest comet goldfish they had at the pet shop.You should see them now. They are the size of my hand. I have lost a couple due to suicide. Fish grow to fill their enviornment. If you want them to grow big don't crowd them and use a big container.
