Do u believe so? Frankly speaking, I find this statement absurd,as one may seem to be sugar coated, well mannered and polite to you in first meeting but only after certain minimum number of meeting, you can come to know person’s true nature and intention. Isn’t it?

I feel first impression have very strong effect in our mind, but its not the last impression if we are in touch of that person. Many times it happends that first impression is wrong. and we can know the person better only after spending time with him/her.

No, you should not be too hasty in forming your opinions about someone/something only after one meeting. The circumstances of meeting can have a huge bearing how correct your opinions will be. If this was a planned meeting (blind date/date arranged by common friends), it is quite possinle that the person will be in his/her best behaviour. However, if it is a chance meeting and you have a good conversation and spend good time with her/him, maybe he/she is really quite well mannered. In that case, first impression can be a good impression!!
