Is it just me or a there alot of strange people on myspace?

It's really frightening how many strange messages I've gotten with some very personal cotent from guys I don't know.I love that I can chat easily with old friends who moved away I just wish there where some way to keep some of the crap out of my mail box. Has anyone else had similiar problems?

I do not think there is a way you can filter out your messages but you can make your profile private.

Yes, there are plenty of weirdos on there! I too use it to keep in touch with friends... I never understood why people try to add 500 people unless they are promoting something! For the personal user don't you think it would be annoying when you want to post a comment and have to weed through 15 pages of friends... Anyways, change your security settings then people can't send messages that aren't your friends!

i dont use myspace anymore because i got a virus when i was on it and it takes to long to load because there are so many people on it its just not worth it either
