remember the old red phone box,2p a call, phone books.and a mirror in most of them, almost unbreakable glass, and you could hear what you were saying. which bright spark invented the ones we see now.broken glass,a steel wire thats not long enough to reach your ears.bring back the old stuff

the new ones, when you can find one that is, are uterly useless, most likely the night before a young teenage yob has attempted smashing the now plastic panels and succeded with a couple of them. the reciever if you still have one on the end of the lead will barely touch you ear and mouth, and would you want it too after the lugs that you get hanging around... whats it now...minimum of 30p a call or similar.. in my area i have 1 phone box, we used to have 7, but slowly and slowly they have taken them away.. what are things coming to. i suppose they are merely thinking that the majority of the population have cell phones now... but still that is no excuse, what happens when the battery runs out, or you dont have one! what happens then!
