Adobe has acquired Macromedia products and has some software bundled for each graphics and multimedia. Crel has recently acquired Micrografx, Metacreation, InterVideo and Ulead products and will also include these softwares in their product line. As a Web Graphic designer i use both of thir product line like Coreldraw, Photoshop, Illustrator, Photopaint, Ulead Media Studio Pro and Video Studio. There are advantages and disadvantages in them.

I guess it depends. I started out with Coreldraw and find it easier than Illustrator. There are lot of changes and effects that Illustrator has.

Me too, I prefer ADobe than corel, but I also use corel because it helps photoshop to design some curves, compare to illustrator, I am much better in corel.
