There are a lot of ways for people to be happy, how do you make people happy? I smile at them most of the time, how about you?

I make my friends and some unknown person happy by approaching to them with a happy face and smiling them back to them with they smile at me. It is so hard to make someone happy specially when they are feeling low and in a moody gesture what I do is that I just stare at them and try to smile using my eyes just like your avatar.

I smile at people walking down the street. i am polite, if an elderly person seems to need some assistence i stop and help them or hanve my hubby help them if i have my hands full with the baby. I tell people to have a nice day when i'm going through the cash in stores. I find if you smile and are polite more good things happen to you then bad. its all about the energy you project to people.

Yeah, me too. I smile at them most of the time because at times I just don't know what to say as an ice breaker. Then if the person responds we would start chatting.

Different things make different people happy ,but I see a a smile can make alot of people happy ,a smal gift , acard ,a bouguet of flowers ...just depends on the person ,it could be just a short phone call to let them know you were thinking about them ...its nice that you like to smile at others to see them smile ..

If I think something nice about a person ("Oh, that shirt looks really nice on Ann" "Scott is playing his solo really well") I say it. Doesn't cost me anything, and it always brings a smile to their face. I also refuse to engage in negative comments. People know that when I am around them, I won't be snarking and making fun of other people, which gets rid of that entire atmosphere of negativity and unpleasantness. Also, it means that people trust that I won't be speaking unkindly about them when they are not around, and I like to think that makes people more comfortable around me, which makes them happier. Quick "hope you're having a great day!" email or texts are good too.

The only way to truly make someone happy is the fact that they have a smile on their face. Doing the most least favors or just helping someone out after a hard day at work can make them feel grateful about the world. Why, picking up something they dropped even if it's something like a glove and make them happy. And if they do not happen to drop anything or ask you for favors, give them a smile. Smiles are extremely contagious. :)

I usually always give each person I pass a smile. I will also send cards to say "hi" or sending you a "hug" to friends.

Agreed. Smile it the key to laughter and happiness. It's affectionate and can warm people heart. Besides, i think compliment is also very important. It show we appreciate other people's work/effort and admire other people's characteristics. It's a good thing and it really make people happy. Besides, remembering friend's birthday and giving them meaningful little gift can also do the magic - make them happy :)

Before you want your people to do it, you should start it with yourself. Maybe you start with toothbrushing...lol... i mean, hygiene and good spirit... Not only i smile at them most of the times but treating them "nicer" as well. OR to make him/her more happy... i'll pay his/her bills...lol

Yes there are a lot of ways to make other people happy, I do try to make other people happy by assisting them if they need help and this makes me happy that I was able to help others.

I make people happy by sharing their happiness and joys. I also be with them at time of troubles and I usually help them in anything that needed my help.I think the best way to make people happy is to have a happy attitude or joyful attitude.

You cannot make people happy by just smiling at them. People have a need to be complimented on what they do. That make them happy. But not many people do things which deserve a compliment. Telling people what they want to hear... also makes them happy. But like with the compliment thing... it is hard to do... because most people don't want to hear the truth or face reality. Finally... helping people makes them really happy... providing that you help them for free... or for a very low fee.

Great, You have a beautiful smile. That satisfaction which is hard to explain, may be the pleasure of fulfilment in being able to make someone happy. See the return is always more than you have given. Thanks for your response

If you always smile at them, they will not be happy. Use differnt methods depending on the situation. If a child is unhappy because of mom's abuse, you have to tell a funny incident, he will smile. Cut a joke according to the sitauation.

I will try to create an atmosphere, where everybody will be happy. Some times simply smiling will not work. Cut the simple jokes according to the situation. You need not put your efforts to remember jokes instantly. You can talk humourously with others and it will become a joke. Day today talks adding humour will become a joke.

I make people happy by doing something that they didn't expect me to do. for example I like to prepare a surprise meal for my husband and he always likes it.

I a happiest when I make others happy. Doing for them..the unexepected. A shopping cart at Aldi's, a batch of cookies, carrying in groceries, holding a door, etc...making them smile and maybe remember it the entire day and the possibility of them doing the same for others.
