What will U do if someone is hurting ur feelings ?

What will u do if someone elder is hurting U always. I feel very miserable as I get hurt even if I do all my duties and be good to him.He finds something or other to hurt U.What should I do? Should I ignore him or Should I behave the same way i.e to do my duty ?
