California Beaches vs. Florida Beaches

Ok ive lived in Florida all my life and i was out at the beach almost everyday and i love the soft sandy beaches that seem to stretch on forever but the only problem is that the waves are kinda small so its hard to surf unless theres a storm. I have also been to California and their beaches, I like the large waves which make it easier to surf, but i really didnt like the rocky beaches and cliffs which made it seem dangerous to surf there. So which do u think is better Florida beaches or California beaches and say why u like them, and if u think there are some better beaches aside from the ones in Florida or California say so and say why u like them
