What your opinion: How important do you find breastmilk?

Just wondering, doctors and midwifes are recommending mothers to feed their babies breastmilk, because, in most cases, it's the best food for a baby. But how important do you find the breastmilk? What's your opinion, everybody who wants the best for their child should feed breastmilk? Or do you think, they survive on powder milk so it's good enough?
