Dropouts at my school

I was surprised at the amount of students that dropped out of school over the winter break, even seniors! Kids I grew up with are giving up, and it's breaking my heart. I thought most of them were going places, how did this happen?

Maybe they found a job which keeps them satysfied, or maybe they had enough of school. If they think that they can't do it and continue their studies, they will drop because it seems useless to them. In my country, at least in my town, nobody dropped out of school yet, because they believe that finnishing it will help them later on. It's really sad what you are saying, seeing your friends waste their future like that...
