i also loved this movie. Mel Gibson really did well in it. i rooted for the Scots all the way. when it comes to both Ireland and Scotland, i dislike the British's past rulers. i have both blood in me, from both sides of my family. this movie was good showing that countries being small, can stick together and fight for freedom. i loved the Mad Irishman he was very comical. and also you cant help but fall in love with all of them, the accents make me weak. it was also pretty funny when the scots lifted their kelts and flashed/mooned the british. do you think that could have really happened somewhere? it would be very interesting. ♣

Its difficult to say but i think mine was the one when William surrenders on a horse with his hands behind his head and how he starts his fight was just picturised beautifully. also when his wife was tied around to be killed and she was searching for William. and "FREEEEEEDOM" would spell a bound and goose bumbs down my spine.

I loved the small comedy parts and the final part when he screams "FREEDOM" when they tell him to yell for mercy.

It is such a great love story. Love of country & love of a woman. I loved everything about it. The scenery, the funny comments (like the Irish guy talking to God). I also liked picking out the bloopers like head pieces didn't match up from one scene to the next, etc., little things like that that I just started to notice.
