I am working on a project that is plastic and comes in contact with food. I understand that I need to use a food grade plastic to mold these parts. We also electroless plate these parts. I am new at designing parts with food grade plastic. If I plate all of the parts that can come in contact with the food. Do, I still need to use food grade plastics? If, I don't need to use a food grade plastic, dose anyone know how thick the plating has to be on these parts to clear the food grade rating? Or where I can find this information? Thanks for the help, Stevea
