wat age should be a good ritiring age?

I think it's very dependent on how healthy you are as to when you should retire .. here in the Uk they are in the first stages of putting retirement up to 70 ... I am already medically retired so all I can say is thank goodness I won't have to work until I am 70 ... I think that's awful .. if folks want to work and are capable of working then that's fine ... but to make people work until they are ay least 70 is cruel

I think there should be no mandatory age at which to retire. I think it depends on the individual, and their own finances, interests etc. My Dad retired at 65 and after two years went back to work, mostly because he was healthy and bored. He worked another 10 years after that and was happy to feel productive.
