Do you think the off the field problems prevented a good season?

8 Cincinnati Bengal players where arrested in the 2006-2007 season. Many people think this affected the team as a whole and prevented the team from making the playoffs. If the off the field trouble would not have happened would the team have a better record and be in the playoffs?
