It should be easy to remember for you, but difficult to guess for a hacker. Include some numbers and if possible some special characters which you need to press the shift key for eg @#$ Also never reveal to anyone! Do not use initials, house name, pets name, childrens names and numbers like your house no, car no etc. That is all there is to it One way is to shorten a phrase eg. I love cats becomes Iac, so no one can guess that

Great job, but missing something. Never write it down unless in a safe place nobody will find. Also, if your browser asks if you want to Save Your Password, say No. This is because when you say yes, it saves the username, password, and website for that account in temp filesm which isn't good if a hacker comes in!

A password should never be only a name of a person or any word that you often use. It should be some random word which is easy to remember. It should always be a jumble of alphabets, numbers, special characters like !@#$ and casings. If you are aiming for high security, keep changing your password after every two or three months. The new password should not have the same pattern as the old one.

hmm ok keep a password that u can easily remember, which ur friends or relatives cannot expect. try to keep same password for where ever u sign in . like e mail id, various forums etc., user name may differ but stick to one password. u can choose password from slangs,or some phrase etc.,
